It's been a while!

I am a terrible blogger! Well since I last posted I started back to work. I miss being at home with my babies all day but I must say that stay-at-home mommies have a tough job. I enjoy my job but so miss my babies. Hopefully one day I will be able to stay home part time with the babies. I don't know if I could do it all the time because I need adult interaction.
Maddox is now 3 months and is a healthy 15lbs. Braelyn will be 2 July 1st. I am amazed how fast they grow up. Maddox will absoluetly be bigger than his sister, she weighs around 23lbs., I figure by the time he is 6 months old he may catch up with her.
Also since I posted my cousin Kevin passed away suddenly from a heart attack. This was very shocking and upsetting to the family. I so wish I could go back and change the past 2 years because I had not spoke to my cousin in that long even at my Granny's funeral. We had differant opinions in life but I would love to go back to my Granny's funeral and talk to him. I will always remember the last time I saw him alive he looked to lonely sitting be himself at her funeral.
I am going to try to keep up with my blog better I will post new pics soon!

A fun day at the park!

Well Saturday we took Braelyn to the park. To say the least she had a blast. Everyone and their grandma was there. Braelyn just loves to play with other kids because she usually has to play by herself because my mom keeps her while I work and I have had her since having Maddox. We are looking at putting her in MDO in the fall with her friend Katie. Anyway when we were leaving Braelyn was literally climbing over Tommy to get back to the playground. It was funny but sad. We took her through the car wash and she liked that. Then we went home and got her little red wagon out and 4 wheeler and played at home. The kid loves to be outside because she pitched a fit when we came inside. She is so sweet!

Ok so Tommy went to give Braelyn a bath last night while I started to clean the kitchen. Well all of a sudden he yells for me to come look at Braelyn. I take off running and round the corner and Tommy is laughing pretty hard. Braelyn apparently found some change laying around and wanted it so she put it in the diaper. Well a nickel (I think maybe a penny) was stuck between her butt cheeks. I laughed so hard. Braelyn's new thing is to stick her hands in her diaper so I am sure we will find all kinds of tings in there in the future! Gotta love the kiddos.

Spending the night at Nanny and Papa's house!

My mom called the other day and asked if Braelyn could spend the night with them Thursday night. Of course I said yes. Well she picked her up around 9:30am Thursday morning because Maddox had a doctors appointment. Mom said she just played all day and got to sleep in her big girl bed. Well she also learned how to open the doors at my mom's house (not good)! Well Friday morning mom woke up arounf 7:30am and Braelyn was still asleep so she layed back down. About 30 min. later Braelyn woke up and walked into the hall and mom said she was just calling for her Momma. Mom said it was so cute the next thing she knows is this sweet little voice is going Momma, Momma, Momma! Not yelling just wondering where I was. How cute is that? Well I did not get to her until 6pm. Friday night, boy did I miss my little girl!

Maddox is getting BIG!

Well Maddox went for his 2 week check-up today and weighed in at 8lbs. 9oz. and is 20 1/2 inches long. He is eating like a champ. For the most part he sleeps pretty good at night, but daddy is the one taking care of him at night so mommy can sleep. Mommy usually takes over aroung 4am unless daddy is still awake. Braelyn still really does not care one way or another about Maddox she just likes to steal his pacifiers and blankets.

Crazy 20 month old!

My little baby girl is so funny these days! Yesterday I was cleaning the kitchen and all the sudden her she comes with her Bikini top. Well we put it on and she ran around for a minute and then I had to change her diaper and she did not want her pants back on so she was in her diaper, top and socks running threw the kitchen as I mopped. It was a funny sight to say the least. I tried to find her bottoms to match but there is no telling where they are. Oh the things these little people come up with. I just love my little babies so much I wish I could stay at home all the time to watch them, maybe one day that will be a possibility!

Just learned how to blog again!

Well it's been awhile since I have been on here. I never really knew what I was doing so I gave up, well Rachael came over and showed me how to do this so now I will try to keep it up. Since I have been gone I have had another baby Maddox Bryce Carter born February 18th, 2010. Braelyn is 19months older than him and it is funny to watch her with him. Basically she just looks at him and say's "Baby", and goes about her buisness. I was on bedrest for about 5 weeks so I an spoiled and really enjoy being home with my babies. When it is time to go back to work it is going to be hard. Also something new in our lives my husband and his mother opened a new bar in Hueytown named Big T's Pub and Grill. They owned Sharky'z in Bessemer but they closed it back in September. We moved back to Pleasant Grove and absoluetly love the house and neighborhood. Well i guess that sums up the last 2 years! I will try to so better posting things I just have to learn the computer to bear with me.

This was right before they took me back to have my c-section. Braelyn did not know what to think with mommy and daddy dressed up lik this. When they left the room she just cried for me and it broke my heart. Also my mom gave me the blanket my granny started before she died for Maddox and my mom finished, I cried about that also.

Just born 7lbs. 13oz. 19 1/2 inches.
